Randazzo is the hometown of Chris, founding member of the Open Sicily Cultural Association. Our goal is to preserve the Sicilian nature of our countries, showing cultural and food and wine traditions, history, art and the environment.
Randazzo is known for being the land of wine, of the Middle Ages and of good food.
In the proposed event lasting about 4, which can be defined as a real experience in Sicily, we will go to the discovery of Sicilian food and wine.
Cooking class in Taormina and Etna
How the event will take place:
The experience can take place either in the morning or in the afternoon. We will meet in Randazzo (if the guest is not picked up at the hotel), from here we will visit a farm where an oil tasting will be carried out, and then continue with the Cooking Class.
We will make a real journey in Sicilian food and wine, making macaroni by hand with the underwire, and in addition we will discover how cannoli are made and we will make the ricotta filling together. After making the preparations, we will proceed with dinner with the dishes made previously, then macaroni alla norma and cannoli with ricotta. Drinks and local wine are included, or a bottle of company wine for every 5 people. Any addition of bottled wine will be separate.
